Stallion Management...

This is an intensive 2-day course designed to introduce the fundamentals needed to successfully and safely manage a stallion in a breeding environment.

The course will combine classroom instruction with hands-on practice and will cover the following topics:

We suggest you bring your lunch as restaurants in the area are limited.
Class size is restricted to maximize hands-on experience for each participant.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Monday, October 6th, 2008
Registration fees are due at time of registration.

REFUND POLICY:
Cancellation by September 17th: Full Refund
Cancellation by October 1st: 50% Refund
Cancellation by October 6th: 25% Refund
Cancellation after October 6th: No Refund

REQUIREMENTS:
You must be 18 years or older to attend.
You must sign a "Participant's Release & Waiver of Liability" Agreement.
You must wear a helmet when handling or collecting a stallion.

WHAT TO BRING:
Comfortable clothing that is appropriate for the barn environment.
Boots or other safe, closed-toe shoes.
Riding or other safety-type helmet.
Lunch and snacks/drinks. A refrigerator and microwave are available.

WHAT NOT TO BRING:
Cameras and/or video/audio recorders are not allowed.
Cell phones should be turned off or on vibrate during class.

At the conclusion of this course, you will have the knowledge to successfully and safely handle and collect a breeding stallion, as well as evaluate, process and ship cooled semen.
